The Event Technology Awards celebrate the best and most innovative technologies being used to change the face of the events and promotional industry.  The award ceremony took place in London on 13th November 2014, and Knit is thrilled to announce that after a nail-biting selection process, we are honoured to receive a highly-coveted award for our work.

Last year, we won an Event Technology Award for ‘Best Use of Physical Interactive Technology’, and this year we were nominated 7 times across a series of categories for the following campaigns - Nissan at Goodwood Festival of Speed, our interactive shop window installation ‘Face in the Snow’, and for our Twitter-activated Spotify jukebox for Volvo.

So we were delighted to scoop the award for the 2nd year running for ‘Best Use of Physical Interactive Technology’ for the innovative campaign for Nissan at Goodwood Festival of Speed.  This campaign blended a range of creative technologies which provided visitors with an immersive and memorable brand experience which linked the offline world with online through social media. View case study here

Glyn Cotton, Head of Production and Dan Jones, Lead Mobile Developer, were there on the night to accept the award on the team's behalf. Glyn explained, "It’s a great feeling when one of our projects is recognized publicly as the best in our industry, and we’re very proud to be a part of one of the toughest and most prestigious awards that is the Event Technology Awards."
